'Serving Kings' at street tennis
US American Andy Roddick holds the serve record with 249km per hour. The winner at 'street tennis for all' achieved 218km/hrs in Duesseldorf on Saturday, an event visited by about 10,000 people. Approximately 50 kids tried their hands on the racquet under the expert direction of ten coaches as well as the French top players Jeremy Chardy and Paul-Henri Mathieu. The serving cages had already been an attraction for tennis fans in the past few weeks in the Duesseldorf region. The respective winners of the day received tickets to this year’s ARAG WORLD TEAM CUP.
